In a time with fast rising trend of companies considering their societal standing, firms have become more involved in corporate social responsibility. This involvement extends to community assistance more than ever before. International Women’s Day (IWD) stands out as one of such corporate social responsibility (CSR). These programs are designed not only to demonstrate commitment but also inspire progress.

This year’s theme, “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,” highlights the importance of supporting women and girls. These girls can be considered as agents of positive transformation. In commemorating this event, Webhaptic Intelligence has therefore, come up with a completely different method. We collaborated with a high school in motivating teenage girls.

Embracing CSR

Webhaptic Intelligence has always prioritized advancing women, recognizing the value of gender fairness, and expressing support for women’s empowerment.. We have made the advancement of women a priority through our efforts in corporate social responsibility. We do this through recognizing the value of gender fairness and expressing the support of women’s empowerment. This commitment extends beyond mere rhetoric. This is evidenced by the company’s active involvement in various programs aimed at empowering women economically, socially, and educationally.

Celebrating International Women’s Day:

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Webhaptic did something different, unlike the usual customary corporate gestures. Instead of holding internal programs, the company opted to make a lasting impact by reaching out to the next generation of female leaders through our corporate social responsibility. The Company, in partnership with a secondary school met with young girls to inspire and empower them.

Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders

We went to the school to encourage the young ones to believe in themselves. With vibrant and engaging discussions, the girls were put to work to write a letter to their future self. By doing this, they therefore needed to think deep into how they saw the different career possibilities they might be exploring in the future. At the event we engaged the girls and brushed through what Market Research is with them so they could have an idea of what we are all about.

Fostering Lasting Change

More than just one-day activities, Webhaptic remains committed to the secondary school for long-term positive change in the lives of these young girls. This would however, also extend to young boys and higher institutions as well. With continuous mentorship programs and scholarships, the company will keep guiding them toward chasing their dreams and aspirations. Through awareness, Webhaptic Intelligence is hopeful that it will begin hastening progress toward gender equality. We also hope that it would spur a new generation of female leaders to generate a positive difference in their communities and beyond.

As we mark International Women’s Day and reflect on the “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress” theme, it feels very good. It is therefore on this note that we at Webhaptic are doing our part to change the lives of young girls. The way companies have embraced CSR and have been actively on the pitch for gender equality is not just fulfilling their social responsibilities but setting a better, more equitable future for all. At Webhaptic, we are glad to be a part of it.

Looking forward, we would not stop with such initiatives that empower women and girls, boys and men and young people at large. We know that every investment in them is an investment in a better tomorrow for all of us.
