One of the key global players in fermentation who specializes in Baker’s Yeast and Bread Improvers manufacturing for more than a century engaged Webhaptic Intelligence to conduct the market assessment of bakery products in Nigeria. Specifically, the study was commissioned to: determine brands of bread improvers and bakers’ yeast available in the market; ingredients used for production; segment the market; estimate volume and market size of bread improvers and bakers’ yeast in Nigeria among other information.
Our Approach
Webhaptic Intelligence employed a blended research approach involving Desk Research, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), Stakeholders Mapping, and In-depth Interviews to drive the project to success. We conducted a total of 1,500 quantitative CAPI interviews with owners or managers of small and medium bakeries across the 36 states including FCT; 500 CAPI interviews with pizza, sausage rolls, and puff producers in 12 states (2 states in each region); and 176 In-depth interviews with home and commercial users of Bakers’ Yeast in 11 Northern states of Nigeria.
