Webhaptic Intelligence was commissioned to conduct a study on digital information services in Nigeria to assess the feasibility of a new mobile application. The client aimed to provide individuals and SMEs with access to investment opportunities in Nigeria, making it essential to evaluate market demand and understand the competitive landscape. By identifying user preferences and industry trends, the study provided insights to guide a successful app launch.

The Approach
A qualitative research approach was adopted, using in-depth interviews (IDIs) to gain firsthand insights from key industry players. The study targeted cross-border trading companies, truck owners, real estate property managers, and car rental businesses—sectors that would benefit from efficient access to digital information. Ten IDIs were conducted in Lagos, Nigeria, ensuring a well-rounded perspective on user expectations, industry challenges, and adoption potential.

Findings from the research highlighted the growing need for digital information services in Nigeria, particularly among businesses seeking real-time updates and market insights.
